Merry Christmas!

It's Christmas and anther year has past! May the Lord be your light in dark times and may He pour His blessings upon you this coming year. The Lord has really done great things in our lives and the biggest thing yet was the birth of our 1st child Emily! Thinking of her birth we come to the birth of Christ and for this day we give thanks and praise to the birth of Jesus Christ. I don't think I can say how overwhelmed I am with joy that Christ was born this day over 2,000 years ago. I would of loved to gotten a Christmas letter out this year about all the things God has done in Debbie and I's lives this past year but we just did not have the time. Hopefully we can get one out in the next few months. From our family to yours Merry Christmas!
Luke 2:11
"Today in the town of David
a Savior has been born to you:
he is Christ the Lord."

Christmas Times!

Merry Christmas to all! We a here in South Carolina spending Christmas this year with my family. However we do miss spending Christmas in CO with Debbie's family (Next year). This year we opened our gifts the night before due to everyone likes to sleep in on Christmas morning. It was nice seeing Emily playing with the boxes and wrapping paper instead of the toys. There were a few toys she seemed to enjoy more then others. We are off to a nice dinner at my aunts house tomorrow then who knows from there. We are hoping to stay in town till Sunday afternoon and then back home for a new week of work for Debbie and fun for Emily and I. I have a really neat project I am working on for everyone's Christmas gift this year. Bella and DeiDei got theirs tonight but I can't say anything in detail yet due to the people who have not gotten theirs yet. (Don't worry It is coming soon) I have a few more to make and then they will be sent off. Well I am taking pictures like mad with this being Emily's 1st Christmas. I hope to post some in the next few weeks as I get time. But until then don't forget to check out our Facebook for more pictures. (www.facebook.com/JDRogers06) Again Merry Christmas and may the Lord be your Light! -Jonathan

Pictures

Emily is so happy today. I am not sure what happy pill she is on. I think I need a little of what she is on. The Sun is out again today and It seems that everything is drying up. It is well needed I still see some wet spots out in the field. It is hard on the car when there is a muddy driveway. The leave are falling like rain and I have yet found a good way to keep them up. I rake and blow them one day and the next day it looks like I have not raked in years. I kinda of wish we had a yard sweeper. I have tried a landscape rake but it does not seem to work well with leaves. It does work great with pine straw. The picture I posted today is one of Debbie and Emily at the park this past weekend. I am trying to work on getting my pictures in order and trying to find a better way of sharing them. I have come across a website that I would like to maybe have. I have had a website of my own for the past 5 years but I have closed it due to it cost each month and they are upping the price this next year. But I still want to have something that I can use to display my pictures. I am yet to find a way to use the pictures I do take. If nothing else they are a good way to look back on life. And to keep track of Emily growing. Maybe this next year I can find a way to use them then just taking up more memory on my computer. ( I only have some much space) Oh, congrats to Michelle for being the winner of the Biggest Loser this season! Too bad it was not Phil. :( I can wait till next month when it all starts again. LOL

Monday Morning Coffee (Nite)

Today was a warm day. The Sun was out and I get some work done in the yard. Emily seems to be getting a cold and Debbie stayed home sick today. We had a great weekend. We got to go shopping and went to church and then got to spend some time together. Oh did I say we went shopping. :) We have not gone shopping for food in so long. I hope we can get back on track to where we can go each week. This way it gets us out of the house each week but we can get fresh food. Christmas is coming with on a few more weeks or should I say days. We are trying to plan what we are doing and hope to get everything we need to get done, done before we go out of town to see family. This is not the clearest picture but it is a cute on of Emily in her new shoes. She is getting so big. This is what she wear to the park on Saturday. She will be 6 months old this week. That is half way to a year old. WOW

The Rain as Stop!

Okay so after 3 days straight of rain it has stopped. Emily has been sick and I am not sure yet if she is that better. Who knows it might be just teething. she is starting get fuzzy. Debbie is working late and I am not sure what to do with her. Maybe we will read a book or two. In other news today was pay day and Debbie got pay a little I am told she will get anther check next week. I will be so glad when she start getting checks weekly and we can get out of this hole we are in. We even might get to go out to eat tonight. It has been I while from the last time we have done that. Emily and I go to go on a nice walk today, but we only got to go so far do to the mud all over the place. It was nice getting out of the house and I think Emily enjoyed it too. Even the Cats got to come alone, next time we will take the dog. Emily is starting to yell at me so I must keep it short.

Looking Back

Well it stormed last night and it seems to be still raining out. Emily is feeling better and I am still cold.....Oh Wait. the A/C is on.... Not much to report today. Debbie is back to work and I am just made a great lunch. I now need to go walk it off. Christmas is around the corner and coming so fast. It just like it was just summer. Things go by so fast when you are busy. I guess now is a good time to slow down and enjoy the time I have. In some ways I wish I had more to do then I do now, but all in do time. I am sure life for me will pick up soon. Talking about life passing us by Emily is growing so fast. she can roll over and starting to sit up by her self. She even moved across half of the room last night while laying on the floor. I can't wait till she starts to talk and walk. I reminds me of the girls. They where so cute when they ran all over the floor. Debbie and I was talking last night about when it will be nice when Emily can put her own stuff up and take her trash to the trash can. Oneday!! I think after talking with Debbie we are going to try to keep our car rides this Christmas year to a min. We plan on going to South Carolina to see family and then we will just spend time with Emily, instead of going all over the world. If we had the time and money we would love to go out to Debbie's Family in CO, maybe next year. Oh I got my Driveway Patrol in the mail and I am glad I have been waiting for it for over a week. It is to help tell us when someone comes down the driveway. We can keep a watch out. and to keep the unwanted out. just a little something to keep us a little safer.

In Hand!!!!

It's Here! Fable II is here after months of waiting. Debbie and I's fav Xbox game has been Fable. I found the game over 2 years ago at the mall. I took it home and started to play it. Debbie saw it and wanted to play and we played it non stop for over 4 hours. Over the past 2 years we have played it over 100 times and each time we play it it seems to get better and better. Now Fable II has come out for Xbox 360 and we are dieing to get it. We went to blockbuster the other night and I got to hold it in my hands for the 1st time. It was a great feeling. It was like holding gold, just lighter. It is on both of Debbie and I's Christmas list this year, as well as a Xbox 360 to play it on. Due to cost and not having any money this year I don't think it will happen but who knows. In other news today, Debbie is off to the big city for meetings and will be gone all day today. I had to get up before 8:00 AM this morning to get Emily up and feed. I don't think I have seen 8:00 AM in months. It is not even 10 AM yet and I have had my coffee and even got to blog. I am awaiting a few things in the mail to come. I don't know when they are to come but I am hoping they will come today. Oh While I was up today I heard about a book series by Wendy Alec, "The Chronicles of Brothers" I went to the website and looked around and it seems to be a neat series. I am not much of a reader but it might be something I want to check out. www.chroniclesofbrothers.com Check it out and let me know what you think of it. It is not a real or true story but as the writer says it is a good way to reach out to non-Christians. That is what she hopes to to anyway by these books.

Monday Morning Coffee

It seemed to be a okay day. Debbie off to work and Emily ready to play and eat. All is well. I got some work done in the yard today. It was not much but it was a little as much as I could with Emily taking a nap and the cats and dog bugging me. Well I was working in the yard I left one of the doors cracked and when I came back to get emily up for lunch I notice Emily was having a party. The Cat jumped in the crib with her and was sleeping at the foot of her crib while Emily was just playing as happy as she could be. I took the cat out and by the time I get back she was turned over and playing with her toys in the crib. It was the 1st time she has turned over in her crib. She is getting so big I am just waiting for the day she starts to walk. The other day Debbie gave Emily her bottle of milk to hold. Then she has to go do something real fast well the time she got back Emily had her milk almost gone. It was really funny I think we are going to have to our eye on her at all times now. Who knows what she will do when we turn our backs. LOL :) Oh Debbie also called me today and while she was talking to me got in a wreak. As far as I know the car is okey I am told. Thank God she is okey!

Sunday Post

I did not get to sleep till about 1:00 am last night but seemed to get up in time for church. We went the mother church of the one we went to last week (Vineyard). I really liked it a lot better then the other one. I think Debbie liked it too. I loved the music but today they had a girl come and sing so I am not too sure how the weekly worship team is. The girl who sang is named top in Vineyard music and has a few CDs out I would love to get. I really enjoyed the way they had the stage set up for Christmas. They has really nice trees with two big banners with the names of God on them. The preacher I found to be a really good speaker and can hold the minds of everyone. He was in TV news (ABC, I think) years ago and I think that helped with the speaking part. I think it will be a good next few weeks has he peaches on Chirstmas. Emily seem to have a good time as well. She got to meet a lot of new people today. Over all I give today a A+ I think we will attend Vineyard again. Who knows what will happen. :)

Todays Ads

Coca-Cola has come out with the Christmas ball. It is a fun little bottle and the best part is it hold more coke. I think they will only be out for a short time due to a loss they may lose on each drink. But great for we buyers. Go get one today. I found this one at Wal-mart. Well it is getting warmer but I only think it is for today. I am not sure yet but I think it will be really cold tonight. :( Emily got her shots today and seems to be in a little pain today. She has slept most of the day. Debbie is working late today and I am starting to get cold after sitting here blogging, I think I need to get me some blog socks on. Other then that not much to report today. I am waiting to get a few things in the mail that I hope will make our house a little safer. After talking with a police officer the other day and researching some things online I have found a few things that will help keep people from braking into your house. I will share more later on that topic. Okay because I did an ad for Coca-Cola I have to have an ad for Mini Babybel Cheese If you have not gotten one YOU HAVE TO GET ONE! It is sooo.. good. It just melts in your month and boy they are so fullfiling. The best part is they are only like 2 points on WW, but the down side of them is they don't sale there where we live so we have to drive all the way to South Carolina to get them. Last time we went we got all they had. Have a warm night and Happy begining of the Holidays get a Coke and Babybel! LOL :)

Back on Track!

Remember this picture? Over the past few months it has been hard to get back on track with weight watchers. But now Debbie being able to get back on a diet I can get back on track myself. The meals can be healthier and life can just get better from here. Biggest Loser is almost over with only one more week left after tonight and it is time to make our choice on if we want to be the biggest corpse or the biggest loser for the rest of our lives.

Happy Black Friday

Happy Black Friday! The busiest shopping day of the year and Debbie and I got to sleep most of it. Emily seemed to enjoy playing in Mommy and Daddy's bed this morning. I have been feeling kinda sick today. I bet you can guess why. LOL I think I ate too much. I am sure many people are feeling to way I am today. Oh well, I am taking it slow today and just enjoying a few days not having to watch Emily all day. I am however so ready for people to leave and Debbie and I can get back to our lives some may seem boring but we love it. If you shopping today best to luck to you. I plan on doing all my shopping online.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all and all a good night! Oh wait no that is Christmas. Oh well, Today was one filled with family stress but it seemed to be okay, at this point at least. The food was great and I eat like a horse. Now Debbie and I are ready to go back on our diets come Monday morning. The only down side to having Thanksgiving dinner at our house is we have to clean up after dinner. But for us we didn't get cleaning until after a two hour nap. And let's just say that was my highlight of the day! *wink ;) The one bad thing that really gets me this weekend is we went to the store last night and got back late and when we return our farm gate and is at the end of the driveway was gone and the chain was laying on the ground So If you have seen a 2 Red six foot farm gates please let us know. Our guess is that some high school teens stole it. At this point however we can't do much about it. But we do know it is the frist and last time we have a nice gate out front. Happy Thanksgiving! :)

I have been and still am busy cleaning today getting ready for family to come in to town for the week for Thanksgiving. I have so much to do and not sure how it is going to get all done for my time runs out. Other then that today have been a okay day nothing to write about. It did rain tonight. Woopiee!!!

Vineyard

Well. Saturday night was a really good night. We start off helping Debbie's boss move some desk and office stuff in their new office downtown. Then we headed out to Evans, GA where Debbie's spends most of her time working in. It was a really nice area. One that I think we could spend more time in in the coming years. We ended a nice night kinda like a date night stopping by Starbucks to get a nice hot cup of coffee or for me a nice iced coffee. We got up this morning and went to Vineyard Church out in Evans. It was a nice church. Smaller then I would thinking it would be but was nice. I enjoyed most of all that it had a cafe/family feel. It smelled good with all the candles in the building. I am guessing they had about 30 or 40 lite all around. and then really nice crosses and wall posters hanging off the walls. The Pastor was even a CIU grad. Over all it was okay. Other then that we ended today watching a 2 hour movie of 24 that aired on FOX tonight.

Yes I know it is not Veterans Day but I found this picture the other day and had to post it.

Mr. Sock

It seems as if Emily can't keep her socks on. We went shopping the other day and found that Emily was missing a sock. So Debbie and I go hunting for it in the store. We found it next to the ice cream. Hummm.... I think she might be saying something. We get home and her sock is gone again. this time it is in her car seat. I get her up today and find that her sock is on the floor next to her crib. (is she trowing things now?!?!) I one again put it back on. After feeding time I find that once again it is missing. This time after running around the house looking for it I found it in her seat on the table. This time I just left it there. I think is a new kind of game she is playing with daddy. Well I am not sure if it a really fun game at this point. I am just waiting to see what happens when she gets shoes. What joy! :) Note: In the picture she has only one sock on! But still seems to be happy. Soon I think she will just walk away.

Halloween to Christmas, What happen to Thanksgiving?

It seems like just a few days ago we had Halloween now walking in Wal-mart the other day I noticed everyone is ready for Christmas What happen to Thanksgiving. I am still trying to get things ready for thanksgiving and in the middle of it all, every store I go into has only Christmas stuff. I am not sure but did I miss something?!?! In other news I it COLD outside. I have been cold all day. I think the high was in the 40s. I am told that here in the woods is colder then other places. You would think that Ga is a warm state. But after talking to a few people I am fining it is warming in SC this past week then here. So. I guess with it now cold and the stores ready for Christmas, lets say bring on the Snow! I am cold even thinking about it.
Oh Well maybe I will have something worth bloging about later.

Monday Morning Coffee

Well we are back to a new week of work. Debbie is at it again but this time in a suit. Emily keeps rolling over, I think she is just going to roll everywhere instead of walk. I so could not get up this morning. I myself rolled over a few times, till Miss Emily had to wake me up with her smelly room. After cleaning Emily up and airing out her room I had to go for the Monday morning coffee. (Bless my wife for making it this morning.) Now after two cups I am ready to get on the ball and start doing something. Humm... I have a list of things that needs to get done. And the only thing that seems like any fun would be playing with Emily on the floor. Maybe we can see who can roll over the fastest. Well maybe not, I don't think she could pick me up off the floor. Plus I know she would win the rollover game. Last night was a night to put in the books of the "Deep Woods" of GA. Some guy in a pick up comes down the drive wanting to know if we have seen two cows. (Do cats count?) He says that he had two donkeys that ran after his cows. One even took a bite out of one cow's ear. After talking with him a short time and getting his phone number he left and I went on doing my yard work. (I think he had a little too much to drink) Once my work was done and it got dark I went in for a nice dinner Debbie made. One I think could work for my restaurant in the years to come. So after dinner we noticed car lights driving up in the driveway. Out step someone and they came to the door. I met the man in uniform. ( A GA State Trooper). He said that we had cows at the front of our driveway and wanted to know if they were some of our pets that got out. I told him about the man who came a few hours before him and gave him the number I got and he gave his thanks and said he would go back and babysit them till someone got there. SO the Cows are saved and all is well. It was just another night in the "Deep Woods" of GA.

Rainy Days!

Well today was day two of Debbie being sick. So like anyone would do when they are sick we went out and spent the day in the city. No really we did. We went to the bank then out the eat then back to the bank then to get gas and then to take a few hours at the coffee shop. It was nice to get some time out of the house. Emily and I don't get to get out much anymore due to not having a car to go anywhere and it is about 20 miles to town. Other then that it rained all day and was cold. Debbie is set to go back to work in the morning and I hopefully will get back on track. At least for the day. No telling what will happen this weekend as family may be coming in for a few days. Some days I wish we had our own house that we could call ours, I could plant anything, change anything and do what I wish with out asking anyone. But for now for free rent we will stay where we are till we get back on our feet and sadly a bit later.

Trash Day!

Today was a great day! Emily and I got to go out to wal-mart and then take the weekly trash to the dump. It is on trash days I feel a truck would be a great thing to have on hand. Emily enjoyed taking a ride.

Emily loves to get out of the house and see the sun. She sang the whole time while in the car with a CD I had going. I think she likes music. We ended the day making a nice dinner for Debbie. It was a really good butter chicken with rice, vegs and a nice wine.

~Debbie's 1st Bottle~

Today was the 1st day Debbie got to feed Emily a baby bottle. She seemed to enjoy the fact she could stay at the dinner table with the family and didn't have to leave in the middle of it.

Swiss Army

Shopping Trip! After a nice long few hours out with my Dad in town shopping I got to buy myself a real new Swiss Army Knife. I have been wanting a pocket knife for years now. Plus leaving on a farm I can't live without one. I have been asked over 5 times by people if I have a knife on me. So I guess I can now say yes I do.

Rollover!

Yay! Emily has master rolling over today. It is not a really good picture due to it being on my cell phone. I would lay her on her back and once I leave the room or hid she rolls over then smiles. I roll her back over on her back and then she once again rolls over when I leave the room. Now I got to peek and watch her from the other room and got her in the middle of rolling over with the camera. Great Job little Miss! now for the walking part!

~Wish List~

Okey time for my Wish List! Here are a few things I am wishing for this year.

A Braun Series 7 Razer. I have been looking for a good razer for years and have come down to this one. It has great reviews and it even cleans it's self. It may be a little pricey but a razer that works is worth what it cost. Plus I spend about $30 a month on trow away ones. That is $360 a each year. Why not get something that is cheaper and will last longer then a few days.
For more info... http://www.braun.com

A Sushi-making kit this kit is not that bad it is one of the only ones I can find online that has so much stuff that comes with it. It Includes one serving plate and two wasabi bowls from our most popular set of sushi dishes, ceramics with colored glossy glaze bordered with matte black, available in blue or turquoise. This set also provides a rice spatula, bamboo sushi mat, rice mold, sashimi knife, two pairs of wooden chopsticks, and instructions for preparing sushi rice and maki rolls. I love that fact it comes with a knife. For more info..... http://wokshop.com

Top of all else would be a Xbox 360 60GB Storage, wireless controller, headset, and so much more. in the past few weeks they have gotten cheaper then when they 1st came out. I currently have a old Xbox and Debbie and I like to play together when we have time. When we lived in Tn a few years ago we played the Xbox a lot in the evenings. So this is really a joint gift for us both. and would a Xbox 360 be like without the best game in the world the new Fable 2! :) For more info.... http://xbox.com

We can't forget a bike trainer. With me spending more of my day indoors taking care of Emily I can't get out as much as I would like. When we lived in TN I got a nice bike and I would have time each day to go out and ride at the park and Civc Center. But again I just don't have the time with caring for a baby. I hope when Emily gets older we can get a bike thing to put behind it and pull her. That is what Debbie is hoping for.

I am sure there is many more things but most of all I would have to say my biggest wish for the Holidays is having a great time with family and enjoying Christ's birth with my own baby girl and great wife!

I found this neat post in the Chicago Tribune this past week. I think it really neat how there seems to be more fathers staying home with their children. One thing that the Chicago Tribune News highlights is the fact that mothers are getting better higher paying jobs nowadays. Years ago it was almost unheard of to have a man stay home while the wife works. But over the years more men are taking the job as house dad. With this % rising each year there have been a few well known pastors, and Churches saying it is not of God's will and any and all SAHDs (Stay at Home Dads) will go to hell. I think that is a bit much. The thing that really gets me is they base this all on 1 Tim 3:8. Now as I pastor I am not really sure where that comes from. But maybe I am missing something. I understand how a man needs to provide for his family but who is to say taking care of his children is not providing for it. We still are providers to our family just may no longer be the "financial" provider. Read it it is a good post!

Tuesday Blues!

Today for the most part has been boring. I just can't seem to get up and moving. I think the cold is making me lay around the house all day. I have turned the heat on today but It seems to be hard to get warm today. Emily is not sure what she wants today. When she is up she is sleepy and when she is down for a nap she wants to get up and play. It could be the cold with her too. Maybe I can get up and do some cleaning and take a shower before Debbie comes home. One thing you can prayer about is that we start getting money coming in in the next few weeks. We are starting to hurt due to having no money to pay the bills and stuff. Debbie is going to be working longer hours and more in the office on the phone until she can get her numbers so she can go into the field. I am so waiting to ride my bike more during the day but not sure yet how with Emily. I want a bike trainer I and use so I can ride in the sun room while she is sleeping during the day. But it cost to buy a trainer. Maybe I can get one for Christmas. Hint...Hint... :) Or maybe even better a Xbox360. LOL I think I should just post my wish list for Christmas. Maybe I will within the next month.

Monday Morning!

Well it seemed to be a great weekend. We went out of town to spend some time with family and go to a family party that is held each year on the last Saturday of October. It was really nice and I think both Debbie and Emily had fun. Emily did great in the car and we didn't have to stop any for her the whole way. We are now back after a good weekend and we are starting a long week of work. Here are is a picture I took this weekend of Emily in her "chic" suit. Also check out my Southern Photography page to see more pictures. Oh Fable 2 is now out and I have heard great things about it. I am so waiting to get it. Once our bills are paid and we are back on our feet again I hope to get the game. I would also like a Xbox360 so I could play the game. But who knows maybe in a few years or months when they are cheap I can get one then. LOL Okey I watch Trading Spouses on CMT this morning while Emily was taking her nap. Today's show they have one mom who is big into new age and one mom who is some big Christian Freak. Okey I have watched a few of the shows where Christians get on it and shout, yell and tell everyone they are all going to Hell. This mom today made me sick of Christians. When she got home back to her family she jumped up and down yelling about how she crossed over to the "Dark-Side" when she went to the other family. The sad thing was the new age family was really nice to this lady even when she told them they were going to burn in Hell for the way the live. I was so shocked in that this is how Christians treat people. I am not sure why, I have seen this before but I guess I just forgot how some people are. Oh, at the end of show the lady trashed the letter the other lady gave her and said she would not take the $50,000 from Evil and she was yelling at the camera crew If they where not Godly Christians and if they where on the "dark-side" to get the **** out of her Home "In the name of Jesus". Oh my what are these people thinking? WOW.... That is something. To find out more about it check out Trading Spouses Shows. On one show I watched a few weeks ago the mom told a 5 year old he would be burning in Hell for talking back to her. CRAZY!!

Rebal Dad!

Did you know that back in 2006 there were 159,000 stay at home dads. They say that in the past few years that number has grown over time to nearly 400 or 500 thousand. There is 2.9 million preschoolers today cared for by their dads while mom is at work. It seems that I have become one of the 100s of Stay-at-Home dads or what some call Rebel Dads. Why use the word "Rebel Dad" There is no good way to refer to a father who serves as primary caregiver. "Househusband" sounds dated, "stay-at-home dad" too long (and the acronym -- SAHD too depressing) and otherwise problematic. "Mr. Mom" is offensive. So it is a name for us "stay-at-home dads" that captures something positive, something edgy in todays modern world. So over the next year we will see what happens in my life as a "Rebel Dad". :)

Turn on the Heat!

Turn on the heat was the first thing that was on my mind this morning as I sat in bed not wanting to get out of the bed to the icily cold air. I think it is time to turn on the heat when you see ice coming off the windows and you can see the the hot air coming out of your month when you talk. So I picked out something more to where today. No shorts and T-shirt today. When I woke Emily up this morning for her feeding I noticed a warm baby with a hat on her head. I guess Debbie felt it was cold this morning too. I had to take a picture of Emily as she looked really cute. Later today I could hear Carolina (the dog) barking like crazy out side and I saw the car trying to come inside the house like something was after them. I took a look outside and saw a young deer standing in the back yard just standing tall and look right at the dog. I was not sure if it was going to run away or attack the dog. I did want any person living in the woods would have done. I ran in the house and grabbed the camera. (LoL did you think I was going for the gun?!? Heck no! I am not going to miss out on a good shot.) After only getting a few shots in (camera shots) Carolina ran after it almost braking her skyline and the deer ran down the hill off into the woods. It was young but would make a great kill when it gets older.
Oh well that was the highlights of my day!

Taking a Hike!

Well this past week is now gone and a new one is starting. The weather is starting to feel more like fall with it cooling down each day. Leaves are starting to fall. I think the high next week is 78. I love this time of year. It is not to cold and not to hot but just right. Debbie I think she is enjoying working as well as getting a few hours out of the house each day. Everyone she works with seems to think she will do great and even one day make a top level. I think she will do great. Emily is growing up so fast and keeping me busy each day as I am now staying home with her during the week as Debbie is off at work. I have been trying to find ways to get work done around the house and land while keeping an eye out for her. Before leaving CHC we where given a pack back to put her in when she get older. She is just now getting to the point where she can get in it and sit up by herself. So while I get some light work around the house and yard done she can sit while looking and taking everything around us in. She seems to enjoy spending some time outside with the fresh air and sun along with playing with the cats and dog. I even get to take a walk with her to the mail box a few times a week to one get me in shape but two to get the mail. I still have yet to build her a car seat for the golf cart. I am working on that one... Anyway Debbie is requesting the internet for the night and I need to go clean the house as our grandparents are coming in for the week. I will try to do better about updating.

What Happening!

Well not much happening here. Debbie has started working and I have become Super Dad once again! When Debbie is gone I am taking care of Emily. She is growing up faster then one would think. She is so loud and trying to talk all the time. We are trying to work on her knowing when it is time to nap and when it is time to play. During her nap time I some times find her playing and talking to her toys. I went in there to day to see what she was doing as she was so loud I could hear here all the away on the other side of the house. Will when I got in her rooms she had a big smile on her face and was hanging onto her toy that hangs on the side of her crib. And she moved about a foot from here I put her down at. I am waiting for the day she gets up and starts running all over the house. I have a feeling that day will come soon then later. Oh Well, in other news Debbie and I are going to take a trip to SC this week to go see family and maybe a few friends I am not sure at this point who we will see. Debbie's birthday is coming up this week so we are going to be going out to eat with some family members this weekend while we are there. Speaking of next week Debbie should be bring in a paycheck next Friday and I am really happy about that. We are in so need of some money right now. When we 1st moved here it took some time before Debbie could find a job. But that time is coming where we will be back on our feet soon. And the good part is the next few months for Debbie are to be one of the biggest times in her company to make money. So let pray all goes well for her in the next few months. Oh well like a said not much to report here. Maybe next time I will have something more to talk about.

Killer Yellow Jackets!

yellow jackets of something, who knows. Now the thing is they are all over the yard and I am not sure how to get them away. I have been looking all over the So after working in the yard for a few hours today I was working on a new idea I had thinking of about making a new path for the golf cart. So I got out my rake and went to work. Before I knew it something was buzzing around be and I felt like something might of been stinging me. Well it was about 30 or more yellow jackets. And let me say they are fast and can chase you. That they did! All the way into the house into the shower. Debbie thinking I was overdoing it. I felt weak and like I was about to die. The bad part was I was not able to get them away from me. I ran to the shower pants and boots still on (I got a nice pair of boots a few weeks ago but they are Combat type boots so they take a while to get untied and off, so I didn't have time to undo them) I thinking they hate water but soon found out it just made then madder then before. Finally I got Debbie to get my boots off to only find more yellow jackets all over me and all over the house. Once again to the shower They came in after me. After running around the house outside and inside again I got then off of me. However they where all over the house. Debbie being the super wife she is take Emily out of the way and then start to kill them one by one. After about a hour of killing them, me about to have a heart attack she got me come drugs and cream for the pain and stings. About an hour or two resting I feel fast asleep Now I am still in a lot of pain and feel I have been beaten with a 2x4. I think Debbie just killed the last yellow jacket less them a hour ago. I am praying that in the morning I will feel better and can sleep okay without bad dreams of monsterInternet for ways to kill them but there seems to be no fast and quick way to kill them. In the long run it might have to some down to paying someone to remove them. Till we meet again!

Living it out!

Okey so life is back on track. It's hot outside and things seem to be calming down a little. I am still not in the school system yet. But my hope is this week I will be. I am finding things take time to get things done around here. Speaking about things around here. Debbie keeps getting on the way my I have started talking. I am slowing starting to sound like a deeps woods hick. I guess I have to watch out and make sure I am on top of my language. Oh well in other news I started back weight watchers for men today. Today was not that bad however I did go over 8 points today. I guess I should of left the pizza and chips alone. :) When I weighed in I found out that have only gained 3 pounds from when I ended WW the last time. Now this time I am praying that I won't stop until I am to my goal weight and even then make it a life change. I know stopping and starting over and over again is never good. In the past with diets I have been on I always gain 10 or more ponds stopping it. The time I had to stop WW was due to us not being able to buy our food anymore at Calvary. (they only got junk food, and the kids doctor would die if they know what they where eating, but again that part of our life is over) This time I am going to live it out to the fullest and make it a life change. Anyway I must go before our internet cuts off.

We made it!

It's Hot Hot HOT!!! We are here in the land of nowhere. Shell Buff, Ga. Check it out on a map. It is in the middle of the big oak tree and the pines. LOL :) No I am not joking it is. Anyway some week the 1st week was. I was sick all week with some bug and boy I hope that was the last for a long time. I went to training and learned all about the really cool high-tech stuff Burke Co Schools have. So a small poor town the schools here have some really neat things. Lets not forget to say all the schools look new too. Anyway besides that. I have been spending some time working on the farm. Let me just say it hard work and boy I forgot how hot it is here in the summer. The bad thing is right now it is taking me longer to get small things done, due to no one working on the farm for over a year now. Cleaning the leaves have taken me most of this week trying to get them cleaned up so you can see the good old Ga. moss that runs the ground. I also forgot how big the bugs are here. some days before leaving the house I feel like caking my self in "OFF Spray". But I once learned that it seems to bring more bugs out then without it. So I just go without. Oh well Internet is bad so I can't post long. I will try to post more when we get better internet or we take the laptop up to town.

The Last Post!

Well I can't say that the "Last Post" at Calvary is the best. Once again Calvary seems to have done it again. So we are to be spending our last night with the all the kids and Philip and Lucy. As it is Philips and one of the boys birthdays today and our last night with everyone. Have a little party and have time to say our good byes, WRONG!!! We spend it with some church we don't know who we will have to be all smiles about Calvary Home and Thank them for money we never even see. But again this is how Calvary Home works. Their communication sucks! But the great news is it is the last time we have to "fake it" and put on a show. In other news Debbie has started WeightWatchers and seems to be enjoying it. I can't wait till I get to go back on it come this next week. The 1st thing we will be doing once we get to the farm is shopping. And yes there will be no buying of hotdogs and crap like that. YAYA!!! All our stuff is in boxes or bags and we are really to load the Uhaul truck 1st thing in the morning. Now the thing that gets me is I ordered for this truck last week and Uhaul tells me I won't know where to pick up the truck or know the time to pick up until today. So sitting in church this morning I get a call from them saying I can pick up my truck at 11:00 AM in Anderson. Well where I am to pick is fine but 11:00 AM is not okay with me. So after leaving church and spending an hour on the phone talking with 3 different people, I hope I can get it at 9:00AM. I never really got a 100% feeling that they understood me. Lets prayer and hope for the best!?! Oh well, As I am not going to be getting much of a nap today I must go rest before this church gets here.
Like always,

~Website Updated~

I was looking over some other blogs I today and came across one that made me think.
Barefoot Community Church (in North Myrtle Beach, SC!) has created quite a buzz with their current series "Exposed Pastor." The premise is that the pastor and his family have agreed to live their lives before cameras for over approximately 15 hours daily to share the authenticity of the Christian life with those who don't know Christ. I spent some time in there my self and found it to be a neat project. Check it out! After spending time talking with both the Clay and his wife they seem to a great family. Like everyone else, I think that is the main point is that they are just that, just like everyone else. The hour spent watching them was main just in there car as they were going home from there meeting.
In other news today, I got my ministry website back up. It has been down for some time but I opened it back up and updated it. check it out and be sure to sign the guest book. I will try to keep the site updated this time. I am kinda bad about that.
