Back to Life!!

Debbie and I went out of town this past weekend to SC to see family. It really was not that bad of a stay. we stayed until Monday. Debbie got back to work and I got back to taking care of Emily and doing nothing else. I cooked again last night while Debbie worked late. I made my Greek Butter chicken. It turned out really good. I think it was as good as the 1st time I made it. I have done about 4 over the last year. It is something I am planning on putting on my menu one day when I get me a restaurant. If and when that every happens. On other news. we are still trying to get ride of Dallas and all the cats. They are getting just too much and Burke Co has nowhere for them to go. We have contact all the places in Augusta and even a few outside our main area and nothing. That or they will not take them do to us not living in the area. They even check your ID. I have put a ad online and hoping someone will take them. Emily is trying to walk more and more. I think she wants to do it but she is just not 100% sure of her self. Oh well, I am off to go find something to do. Here is a picture of my chicken I made last night. Sorry i will not tell you how I make it.

~Today's Cup~

For his anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may remain for a night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.

At Day at EdVenture!!!

We have a great time at Kids EdVenture!! Hayden's Birthday party was a little boring more for the reason the stuff of EDVenture where not in order with how they do things. Debbie, Emily and I enjoyed seeing family we have not seen in a while. Emily also seem to enjoyed playing all over the place. We plan on takening her back when she gets older. I think she may even enjoy it more. There is alot of stuff for her to do.. Even alot for daddy to do :) She was not sure what to do with "BIG Eddie" but loved the "My Backyard" as it was moer for kids her age. She even met a few new friends. Here is a few pictures we took. there is alot more but you will have to check them out on our facebook.

It's been a while!!!

Okey so it has been a while from the last time I posted... I have been busy with the house and taking care of Emily. I will try to do better! (again I say will "try")
This weekend was nice, Debbie Emily and I went to Carowinds and got to stay at the Hilton hotel. The hotel was not as nice as I would think for a Hilton but over all the stay was nice. We did take some time to stay at the pool and that was nice to get a good swim in. I think now I want a pool. Carowinds was okay Debbie had never been before, I am not one to ride anything but Debbie and Emily got to go on a few small rides. I think Emily really enjoyed herself. The best part was it was all free. :) Thanks to Debbie's company. On Sunday on the way back to GA we stoped in Anderson and went to church at NCChurch.net It was great.. we really enjoyed see old friends and the people we love. Once our short trip to anderson we headed home to find most of our flas are dead and that the house was still standing... LOL (not that I would) Oh well... we are back to the woods and back to our slow lives. More later!!!

In His Grip,
Jonathan

~Our Path~

4th of July can and went... people came and left... We ate, slept, cooked, played, watched, and had fun.. I am now glad it is over and everyone went home. Emily start taking her 1st steps over the 4th and before long I think she will have it mastered. with having everyone in town it left us with a mess to clean up and fleas to deal with. We have been trying to kill them for a few days now and i think we are near the end... I didn't say we killed them all just that we are getting near the end of them. As life is getting back on track Debbie and I sit to wonder what God has in store for us. It seems we are coming up to a fork in the road and we have to pick to we pick left or right... Which door do we choose?!?! At this point I don't think we even know what chooses there even are yet. But I know it's coming. Debbie working full-time is killing her and me staying home with Emily is killing me. Out money is shot and we seem to only be holding onto a thin line. At this point the only thing we are sure about is our Love in Christ. Christ is the only way we can make it to the next step in our lives. We pray this next book in our lives is one of greatest and blessings. I once preached on a sermon about finding your blessing. You can't be blessed until you have been broken.. Well both Debbie and I have been cracked for a long time I guess it has just been within the past few months we finally broke. As we pick up our pieces and lay them down to the Lord I can't wait to see what He will make with them. We have just gotten to the point we are starting to see the doors that await for us we yet to know what they are but we know change is coming... As far as our housing project. Things are still going slow... If you have not heard the last bit of news, the workers drove there tractor in the front of the house and for the past few days have been over there working on fixing it. When will we get power and be able to move in. I just don't know, at this point in some ways I just don't care anymore about it. I guess we will get in when we get in. Everyone and everything seems to be making it hard for the simple things to get down. We should of been moved in about 2 weeks ago but as you can see we are not. I wonder at times if we will ever get moved in. Only God knows! Well I am off to take a short nap while Emily is down for her nap and get some much needed rest. I send out a big prayer request that God will show us his path for our lives and open then right doors in the next few weeks! (The sooner the better)
