Where we are at!!

Here is where we are at... In red is our front driveway. Yellow is out new hosue. and the white lines are the driveways. If we have a air picture is it now it would look a lot differant then this picture. all the pine trees are gone and where our house is is a big open space. I know google updates their pictures every two years. I know they will update it here soon so I can see what it looks like now.

Where we are not!!!

Okey after many hours of the phone this morning trying to tell UPS where we are and not to follow GPS, google, yahoo maps or even map quest. I looked up to see where all the map site up us and not a one has us right... :( Here is what I found. I mark in red where we are.

Google put us about two miles away from our drive. I mark where we are in red.

Yahoo maps was the best I could find.

Map quest puts us about one mile away

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

~Troubles in Construction~

Why is it when it seems I have a great deal, great price, great project, when it comes right now to doing the job it just is not what I wanted. From the start of our housing project things have gone wrong. From clearing the trees on our land to getting the stumps up. To fixing the road having to build a bridge for the water to flow. To getting to tractors and tools I have needed all the way to drilling the water well and the biggest one getting our house. Just about everyone person I have contacted to do the job has not called me back or when they did do it did it slow or wrong. I feel I get one step up and two steps back. Even to this day I am waiting for the power pole guy to call me and come out. I have called him 4 times. and have been waiting on him for 3 days. I might get someone else. But in doing that I have to go back to the drawing board and start all over again having to find the best prices. I think this maybe the first and last time I have this big of project.... Okay I am sure I will have many more in my life but next time I will do more my self (so it can get done right). When I get all this done I know I will be so glad! I might have to have a party!!! I know Debbie will be glad when it is over. I think I have been stressing her out more then myself. Well I know it is getting to a end soon I am starting to see the end.... I said starting.... :)

I broke Down!

Okay so I broke down and got a barn and silo along with a few things to make my farm look a little more like a farm. I am thinking a Farm house will be one of my next upgrades I get. My apples trees are looking great. It has a lot of colors. You got to love playing this game.

No...No....No!!!

Gingerbread PEOPLE? What happen to the "Gingerbread Man"

What’s next? First, why the plural on the gender? Even when it was masculine, it wasn’t gingerbread “men,” it was “gingerbread man cookies.” Second, it would be one thing if there were different gender gingerbread folks in the package; maybe some kids, a mommy . . . but no, not even a transgendered twink gingerbread person in evidence - this is false advertising!

Farm Town

FarmTown is a game on Facebook that has really blown up. There are 100's and 1,000's of Facebook members playing it daily. I for one have to say I'm a Farm Town Fan along with the rest! I started playing it and now I can't stop. Just within the last few days I have come to a point where I can leave it for a few hours at a time and everything does not go to pot. I play it so much that debbie made her own facebook account just so she could play it. I have to take my hat off to the games makers. I wish now they will come out with some more updates and some really cool things to add. I have been playing it for a little less then two weeks and I am up in the higher levels (22) have upgraded my Farm two times and I am growing things like crazy. Check it out if your a Facebook member I am willing to bet your get hooked too. It takes a few days to get things up and runing (coins, unlock things etc..) Enjoy!

Man Eater!!

Well the sun is out once again and nothing is happen with this house. I am praying they are getting everything ready so we can move on the our next and biggest part. The getting of the house. There was a few days of light to mid rain and the road seems to be holding so that is a blessing. I will be so glad with all of this will be over. I hope and pray soon if no more road blocks come. Emily has been off a little today and I am noticing that she is a lot me when it comes to food. If she does not get food she turns into a monster. LOL No I am for real she does. It is very scary. But when she get the fuel we call food she is a Sweet little girl. When Debbie goes without food she gets sick, when I go without food I like Emily turn in to a monster. (Debbie chooses to use other words) In other news We are starting to give away our cats so if anyone needs a cat or wants one please please please.. come and take one or two. Oh we also have a brat of a dog someone can have too. :) Well I guess it is time for me to now eat now that Emily is down for her nap. I also need to clean house, oh joy!

Hot Days!

Today was a hot one. I mean really hot. It seems that if it is not raining here it is HOT. We got our well in this morning. We went with a BIG tank. I think it is too big but hay it will be great for my garden and greenhouse. I am not really sure why we got that big of a tank but for only $300 it was a good deal. I will take pictures of it later and post it. I need to also take pictures of my road and all the work I have been working on over the past few weeks. I didn't get much done today but at this point I have to wait on the power company to do there stuff on there end before the big day. I turned off all our lights and turn the A/C on high and worked to stay cool. It was hard but after a few hours and the sunsetting it is starting to cool down. I hope in our house it is not as hot as it is in this one but they way the our house will face I think it will be hot about 1/2 a day or more. Great for full sun plants. I guess we just need to add a swimming pool in the back so Emily and I can enjoy the hot days like today.

Birthday gifts!!

So this year I got a new cell phone for my birthday. Like Debbie says I get a new phone every 6 months. Well I have to say it has been a full year and 5 months from that last time I got a phone!! :) I don't really want a new phone but my phone is broke and after taking it in two time to have it replaced and fix it is still not working right. The bug thing is the phone I have is no longer made and finding a replacement is a pain. So As it is my birthday and my mom is dieing to get my a gift I went with a new phone. The phone I am getting this time is more of a texting phone. As it seems 80% of the use of my phone right now is texting Debbie I got one I would not have to take 5 mins to get one thing out. I am not that good at pushing # a lot of times just to get one letter. I hope it works great and I love it as much as my other phone. I might hold on the my other one just in chase anything happens to this one. I will give updates on how it works as soon has it comes in the mail. I put a picture of what the phone looks like. I like the color and shape. It is a slider phone. Nice and cool style. I also get a few other things for my birthday but I will talk about them later (Internet router for our Verizon Card). I am tired and need a nap while Emily is down.
