~Where the World goes around~

I have learned more coffee makers today has a set timer. As I got up this morning to find my coffee cold. Maybe that just means I need to get up when Debbie does so I can get hot coffee or I just need to forget the idea and go for the Iced Coffee. Okay so Emily has started moving all around the house and boy I can't keep her out of anything. It was funny today however as Debbie left a cup on the floor and Emily found it. (She knows what cups are used for as she tried to drink out of it but found nothing inside it.) So she put her little yellow duck inside of it. I think she was trying to help the duck out but I am not sure. Well Debbie is working late today as she will be working late every Tuesday from now on. (I am not a big fan of that but oh well) Debbie did get promoted however this time with better pay! I am always a fan of better pay. Anyway with Debbie working so late that leaves me to cook dinner tonight. We are going to have a Jerk style Chicken and Rice w/pea dinner. Great stuff! Well off to start cleaning the house as today is cleaning day. Wait with Emily everyday is cleaning day. I can't wait till she gets to start helping.

~Monday Morning Coffee~

Debbie went off to her work meeting in NC on Saturday while Emily and I stayed at Bella's this weekend in Lexington, SC. My Brother and his wife had their new little baby boy this weekend too so we got to go see them on Friday night. Sunday was a nice days as we went to go see other family in town and spend a nice few hours there before we had to head back home so Debbie could get up early this morning to be at some meeting she had to be at. While in SC this weekend we stop by Sam's Club to pick up a gift for my brother and sis-in-law and went looking through there list of Xbox 360 games they had. Debbie pointed one out that she has seen before (Assassin's Creed) in other stores and wanted to saw it too me. After looking at it I know it could be a good buy. But once I found the price tag I found my self in a lost. In the gaming world Good games = High price tag. This one was priced at $57.95. I didn't have that kinda of money to be putting to a game so I turned the not so good deal down. On the way home we stoped by GameStop store just to see what they price the game as a little used. Can we say BIG DISCOUNT! I walked out of the store with the Assassin's Creed game for only $17.32. :) Boy I felt good. So far the game is not that bad I am still stuck in a few areas but overall it seems to be a fun game.

One of the best gummy candys I have had. New to the USA I found my 1st Haribo bag on Ft. Jackson where you could get it then at only 50cents a bag. Not as a few years have past I am finding there pop up all over. I have to give them 10 stars for being the best gummy candy. Here is a little history about the Haribo Happy-Cola candy.

HARIBO is a sweets producer, founded in 1920 in Bonn, Germany by Hans Riegel. The name is an acronym for Hans Riegel, Bonn.

The founder died during the Second World War and his son, also called Hans Riegel, took over the factory on returning to Germany after the War, and expanded its operations, taking over many local sweet manufacturers in countries all over the world.

Today HARIBO is one of the biggest manufacturers of sweets, namely of fruit gums, liquorice and foam. There are five factories in Germany and 13 throughout the rest of Europe. There are sales offices in almost every country in Europe as well as in the USA .

Haribo was one of several German companies which is alleged to have employed forced labour in its factories during World War II. Haribo disputes this, and has declined to contribute to an ex-gratia payment made by other German companies to survivors.

Haribo’s German catch phrase is “Haribo macht Kinder froh / und Erwachsene ebenso”, which translated as “Haribo makes Kids happy / and adults the same”. The voice of Thomas Gottschalk has been connected with the Haribo advertisements since 1991.

In English, to preserve the rhyme, it becomes “Kids and grown-ups love it so / the happy world of Haribo”, whilst in French the slogan translates as “Haribo, c’est beau la vie/ pour les grands et les petits”.
